Sarah Maglivera was born and brought up in Edinburgh and after studying art in Newcastle, she moved to Kefalonia, the family home of her father. Living in such a naturally beautiful environment, far from the stresses of modern city life, Sarah developed a keen interest in alternative therapies. During a trip to The Cook Islands she enjoyed a Polynesian massage - in the open air, surrounded by the scent of flowers and accompanied by the sound of the waves. It was a Eureka moment!
Awakening ALL the senses added enormously to the benefits of the massage.
Sarah determined to do the same - under the olive trees of Greece! Following her extensive experience of working with tourists she had observed that it takes us some time to wind down. She is convinced that a natural and holistic massage enables us to relax more fully and that therefore enhances out holiday.
This is now Sarah's 4th year offering this experience to locals and tourists in Kefalonia.
All her training was done in Edinburgh through ITEC, which is an internationally recognized qualification and with Jing Advanced Massage Training.
